Tarana Raja
Tarana Raja (born 24 January 1977 in Delhi) is an Indian film and television actress, dancer, voice actress and TV anchor based in Mumbai.
==Personal life==
Tarana was born to Madhu Raja and Late Rabindranath Raja. She completed her schooling from Walsingham House School, Mumbai. She graduated in commerce from Sydenham College, and did her master's degree in commerce from the Mumbai University. Tarana is an avid reader, loves music and traveling. She is also a trained kathak dancer as well as was an instructor and performer at The Shiamak Davar Institute for the Performing Arts (SDIPA). Tarana is also involved in social work and supports the cause of children suffering from dyslexia.
Tarana has been a host for Lavasa Women's Drive 2012 and One Billion Rising 2013 event and has been an emcee/host for a number of organizations like Icra, Cnbc, Studio 18, Reliance Entertainment, The Indian Express Group, Lakme, Mami, Ficci, Vodafone, Samsonite, British Gas India, UTI Mutual Fund, PiramalHealthcare, Godrej, Ingram Micro, HCL, Set Max, Reliance Energy, IntelelnetGlobal, Countrywide Finance, IT Nation, Rosy Blue Diamonds, McDonalds, ShiamakDavar, Jet Airways, Prudential Process Management Services, KPMG, JP Morgan, Raymonds, Mahindra & Mahindra, Sundaram Finance, BNP Paribas, DTC, Sybase, Citibank, Hsbc, Icici Bank, Samsung, Nikon, Philips, Colgate Palmolive Compubell, Lufthansa, Diakin, WaltDisney, Deloitte, Provogue, The Sahara Group, Kamala Group, Capgemini etc.
